"Just tried their coffee and I'm satisfied. I'm not much of a latte drinker but it's one of the good ones I tried."

"The Coffee Academics is a small stall inside the Corporate Plaza Tower 1 in 26th St. cor. 9th St. BGC. You can spot them behind tempered glass where you need to enter the building. They have selections of pastries from Pain au Chocolat and Croissants with or without fillings."

"Specialty Cappuccino tastes great! Not all coffee shops brew the same quality but The Coffee Academics PH - BGC nailed it! Great way to start my street photography in the afternoon!"

"Want to try a different coffee or tea escape? Visit The Coffee Academics! This humble, standalone shop is inside a corporate building, as if it’s forming a caffeine world of its own. I especially like how the drinks were presented. The shop doesn’t have that much options, which makes choosing easier. If you have little time to spare in BGC, this is the place to be."

"I’ve spent an hour in this place and it’s really quiet. Perfect for alone time plus the Okinawa drink and three cheese croissant (i’m a cheese person so this is 100% superb) complimented each other. I will definitely try their other croissant flavours, too."

"As always, I'm a big fan of their coffee. But this branch is not it! I know it's a pop-up but still, I don't feel the vibe the same as their molito branch. Also their famous wine glass was not served, they put it in a plastic cup instead. Will not come back here."

"I saw this place while I was on my morning run around BGC. I’d usually drop by Starbucks after my run as I wait for shops at High Street to open. But Starbucks is already stale for me. I don’t go there anymore for its coffee but for the convenient locations and open office-look of its stores. The Coffee Academics was a welcome surprise. It wasn’t on my list of must-visit coffee shops because I didn’t know it existed, and now I'm glad I stumbled into it. I was going for my go-to soy latte, when I noticed that the shop had a list of special lattes on its menu. They have lattes with Mexican agave, Indonesian palm sugar, brown sugar from Okinawa, and Manuka honey from New Zealand. I tried the one with agave and black peppercorn, and it was a delight. Suddenly, a latte isn’t just a latte. I’ve always been put off by cups of latte that were overly sweet or just bitter or plain as tap water. This agave- and peppercorn-flavoured latte rekindled my faith in what coffee can do, beyond keeping keep us awake or give us a jolt out of a spiral into sleepiness. Coffee can also lift the spirits. That was what I found out at The Coffee Academics. I’ll be coming back to their little kiosk to go through their entire list of special lattes, as well as try the other interesting coffee flavours they have on their menu. The only downside is that their kiosk sits inside an office building’s lobby, where the air-con is turned very low or completely off. So, it can get a bit warm there. You’ll have to get a table near two blowers they’ve installed at one corner of their space."

"This morning when I had a take out from the coffee academics I saw the barista grinding a pepper in the coffee cup, but I just ignored it and just continued with my thing. Then when I was sipping my coffee I tasted some peppercorn and then I had a flashback and it suddenly sinked in to me that there’s a peppercorn in my coffee, then I went to check my phone to see the menu that I took photo “Agave- milky latte candied with healthy and natural Mexican agave nectar, sprinkled with black peppercorn” I was amazed how they pull it off, it was a good blend, something I would like to drink when I’m not in the mood for my regular soy latte. Balanced and smooth with the hint of peppercorn, I got most of the bits underneath. My coffee experience for this flavor is 6/5 We also tried the okinawa and it is also good, perfect sweetness for me."
